Fergus Wilkie is a photographer with more than 25 years’ experience in editorial and corporate markets, now specialising in a distinctive mix of landscapes, street photography and abstract images while continuing to take on portraiture and travel work.

 

A former picture editor and photographer at the Financial Times in London, Fergus was regularly published in all the major UK newspapers as a freelancer, moving into corporate photography in the City of London and British industry, and diversifying into magazines and stills for film productions. From 2004, Fergus worked on regular assignments in the Caribbean, handling portraits, landscapes and aerial photography with equal expertise.

 

In 2022, Fergus published his first coffee-table book St Andrews Photographs, a striking collection of images capturing the character of a unique Scottish town and its people.

 

Based in St Andrews, Fife, Fergus continues to photograph people and places throughout UK and internationally.
